Elizabeth is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Registered Art Therapist (ATR). Elizabeth’s educational experience includes earning a bachelor’s in fine art (BFA) from Alma College, and a Master of Arts in Counseling with a specialization in Art Therapy from Wayne State University.
Elizabeth identifies as being part of the neurodivergent population. Being considered a “highly-sensitive-person”, Elizabeth knows firsthand how beautiful and difficult it can be to experience the world differently than others. Knowing that all people deserve dignity, respect, and inclusion; Elizabeth wanted to help those who are having a difficult time with some of life’s overwhelming challenges.
Two things that Elizabeth loves most about her job are watching her clients “let loose” in art therapy and being the non-judgmental support for when life feels a bit too much– because on some days we need to vent, and on other days we may need to paint.
Outside of work, you might find Elizabeth exploring nature while listening to some new playlist she created, or cozy at home drinking tea and painting pet portraits.
