In all her years of working she has worked one-on-one with children of all ages with a wide variety of disabilities and/or delays including Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Social Emotional Delays, Down Syndrome, Selective Mutism, Developmental Delays, ADD, ADHD, and Learning Disabilities.
Katie has knowledge working with several intervention techniques including Sensory Processing Integration, DIR/Floortime, anxiety in children, ESDM, PRT, and behavioral plans (as a teacher).
Katie has 4 pets at home (1 dog Marlene, 2 cats Cinder and Ash, and a bearded dragon Spike), she loves to drink tea, and could vacation on Lake Michigan beaches every summer.
